D&D at the Oasis — Virtual Tabletop Campaign
A DM-led campaign played on the big screen with a live virtual tabletop — animated maps, tokens, fog of war. Remote players join online and appear as video tiles or character portraits when they speak. Built to become episodic online content.
What happens
A dungeon master runs a session on the main screen using a virtual tabletop: an animated battle map, draggable tokens, dice rolls, and fog of war that reveals as the party explores. In-person players sit at the table; remote players join the same map online.
When a remote player speaks or acts, they pop up as a video tile or a character portrait on screen, so the room always knows who is in the scene. It plays like a live show as much as a game.
Why it works
The virtual tabletop makes the story legible to a whole room, not just the people at the table — and the remote-player + livestream angle means a single campaign can grow into episodic online content the community follows week to week. New and experienced players both welcome; we provide dice and pre-made characters.
